Celeb Calls — personalised celebrity voicemails and calls

The client needed a consumer app light enough to spread through word of mouth, but technically sophisticated enough to stitch dynamic audio fragments — name, location, occasion — into an intelligible celebrity voicemail or call in real time.

We kept the UX to a three-step funnel — celeb, type, personalise — so the fun was in the result, not the form. Audio fragment recording was scoped tightly so celebrities could record a finite set of stitching primitives once, then be reused across thousands of personalisations.

Branded mobile app on iOS and Android backed by a voice-stitching pipeline. Users pick a celebrity, type (call or voicemail), and enter personalisation variables. The backend assembles a greeting from pre-recorded audio fragments and either schedules a delivered call or configures the voicemail greeting.

Shipped as a novelty product built for virality. Three-tap send flow ensured that the first-time experience was about the payoff, not the onboarding.
