Aquevix Small Business Server acts as single solution for multiple scenarios. If you need a complete small business infrastructure or simply want to integrate enterprise features into your existing systems, Aquevix Small Business Server can work for you.

Aquevix Small Business Server is installed in two modes:

Server and Gateway mode

In this mode the server acts as the gateway to internet performing as a firewall and internet distributor server. Computers within the organization can access internet while external access is disabled. If external access is needed, VPN access is provided by Aquevix Small Business Server. All services are available as per configured within the internal network. External network can only see some services granted as well as Secure Shell Access (SSH).

Server only mode

If you already have a partial network and/or are protected by exiting firewall, you can simply use the server in server only mode. In this mode firewall and some network services are turned off and the server simply starts acting as a part of the larger network. Aquevix Small Business Server is still able to offer the remaining services. This mode is by far the simplest mode.
